Maybelline Color Show Polka Dots - 'Pretty In Polka' Swatches

This is one of the New Maybelline Color Show Polka Dots colors. This shade is Pretty In Polka. It's a pinky purple with black and white speckles. The speckles aren't glitters, they don't sparkle. It's more along the lines of China Glaze's It's A Trap-eze. Click here to see swatches of that China Glaze polish and here for the full display of Maybelline Color Show Holographic and Polka Dot polishes. Excuse the smudge on my pointer finger, I was a little too eager to eat my bagel this morning. I also just painted my nails this color this morning so I can't say anything about the lasting power. Maybelline's Color Show nail polish line usually lasts a good two or three days on me. Nothing amazing, but nothing awful, just an average lasting power polish. I do like Maybelline's polishes a lot. I like the size of them because they aren't 0.5oz like a normal polish, they're a little smaller and a little cheaper which I like because I've never actually finished a nail polish before. These are around $4 I believe. I don't remember the exact price and the price wasn't on the display.

My June 2013 Beauty Favorites

Maybelline Color Show Polka Dots and Holographic Polishes

Saw this display at Rite Aid. Nowhere on these polishes or on the display says that these colors are limited  edition! Yay! I picked up the pink speckled polish called Pretty in Polka. I almost picked up the teal on the far right but I decided that my nail polish drawer was full enough and that if the pink was anything amazing, I could always go back and pick it up since these aren't Limited Edition. More thoughts on the shade I picked up will be coming soon!

The Speckled Polishes are called Color Show Polka Dots

The Holographic ones are called Color Show Holographic

And here's a look at the shade I picked up! I'm testing nail stickers right now or I would swatch the polish for you, but I'm definitely painting my nails with this next so keep checking in the next couple days for swatches!

Maybelline Baby Lips Electro Display

There are 6 colors to the Baby Lips Electro Display. I only have one Baby Lips and it's the clear one with SPF so I don't know how pigmented these colors would be on the lips. I would suspect that the Green and Yellow would be practically clear and the coral, fuchsia, orange and purple would have a tint to them. I almost picked one up but I think I would rather have a lipstick or a gloss than a barely there color, but I may go back for one. This collection is Limited Edition. I didn't see any that had SPF in them either.

#70, Pink Shock

#75, Fierce N Tangy

#80, Berry Bomb

#95, Strike A Rose

#85, Oh! Orange!

Maybelline Color Tattoo Pigments and Smoky Liner Full Display

When I purchased the Maybelline Color Tattoo Pigments, I didn't have my phone with me to take pictures, so here is the full display. There are 12 colors total, 6 colorful ones and 6 neutral tones. Click here to see swatches of the four that I purchased and the video corresponding to that post. In the back you can see there are 6 shades of the master smoky eyeliner. I purchased the black one which is swatched in the previously mentioned post.

The bright blue is the only shade that mentions anything about 24 hour wear which is interesting.

New Maybelline Color Tattoo Pigments and Smoky Liner!

I spotted these at my local Rite Aid. Currently Maybelline eye products are buy one get one 50% off, so definitely check your Rite Aid for these! I got the Smoky Liner at Target but the pigments were nowhere to be found. There were 5 neutrals and 5 colorful shadows. I got 3 neutral and 1 color. The shades in the master smoky eyeliner were black, charcoal, a cobalt, purple, emerald, and deep brown. I got black. There are more pictures below the video.

This is the master smoky liner compared to a normal sized eyeliner.

The packaging is sealed which I love.

ExfoliKate® Intensive Exfoliating Treatment Review

I've gotten a sample of ExfoliKate so many times from Sephora or from doing beauty swaps and I absolutely love it. First, I am obsessed with the scent. It's so natural and amazing. I don't know how I would describe it, but you need to go smell it. The directions say to apply an even layer of it over your face in circular motions and let it sit for two minutes. Below is a picture of what the product looked like on my skin after that step.

After two minutes, I washed it off and then patted my skin dry. Before I applied moisturizer I took pictures of what it looked like after.

I have massive pores on my nose and cheeks so as you can see in the pictures above, the ExfoliKate almost completely erased them! It's amazing. This is just after one use. It helps amazingly with oil control and acne. You cant even see the spot on my right cheek that had been there for weeks.

This product is extremely pricey ($22 for 0.5 oz, $85 for 2 oz, and $175 for 5 oz), but I think I'm finally going to cave and buy it the next time I purchase anything from Sephora. It's made my pores the smallest of any facial mask or exfoliator that I've ever tried. I highly recommend going to a counter and asking for a sample!

My Long Lasting, Heat and Water Proof Makeup

Join me as I get ready for work! I work at a summer camp so I'm outside in the rain, heat and humidity all day. We also go to the pool so this is also a waterproof look!

Revlon Lip Butter - Juicy Papaya

I had been hearing a lot about the new Revlon lip butter shades but haven't seen them in person until recently. I saw the display and picked up Juicy Papaya. I'm still on the hunt for Pink Lemonade but I do love this one and thought I would review it for you!

This is what the lip butter looks like in the packaging and how much product that you get.

From left to right: Creme Brule, Juicy Papaya, Strawberry Shortcake.

Here's what it looks like on my lips!

My thoughts:
I really like this shade. It's one of the less pigmented shades of lip butters, but still has color payoff. This shade is a little less moisturizing than the other two that I own. There are no visible glitter chunks which I love. I also noticed that this shade is less creamy than the other two as well. It did cling to a little bit of dry-ish spots on my lips, but it wasn't super noticeable. I will continue to wear this lip butter because I like the shade, but it doesn't moisturize as well as the other two shades that I like, so I'm slightly disappointed. If it preformed the same as the other two, I would get a lot more use out of it but hopefully it will get better as I keep using it! Here's hoping!

My Hair Care Routine!

Hey everyone! I decided to do a hair care video because I always get complimented on my healthy hair when I go to the salon! I forgot to mention that I usually wash my hair two to three times a week. I use a variety of different dry shampoos but right now I'm just using baby powder!

Smoky Lower Lash Line With A Pop of Color

Here are some pictures of how I like to add a pop of color to my lower lash line! Below is a tutorial showing you how I do it!
